The central location of all our properties makes it possible to visit many areas of interest and beauty within Scotland and still make it home by the end of the day! Glasgow, Edinburgh and Perth can all be reached either by car or train in 45 minutes.

Stirling

The City of Stirling has played a fascinating and important role in Scotland's rich historical heritage leaving behind many magnificent and well preserved cultural sites. The abundance of historical sites to visit include the Castle, Old Town Jail, Argyle's Lodging, Wallace Monument and the Old Bridge.
At the foot of the Old Town lies the modern city centre offering an extensive range of shopping, restaurants, cafes and bars to suit all tastes.
Cambusbarron
Cambusbarron is approximately 1.5 miles from Stirling city centre. It is an excellent base close to all historic Stirling has to offer yet within a friendly village setting. A short stroll from Hayford Mills allows stunning views to the Trossachs and Stirling Castle and within 5 minutes walk the local services of the village can be found including shops, post office, village pub and parks. There are many cycling and walking routes that can be taken from close by offering lovely views and tranquil countryside.
Bridge of Allan
Bridge of Allan is a vibrant spa town 3 miles north from historical Stirling. It has become a local destination due to its charm, boutique gift shops, fine delis and restaurants and proximity to Stirling University which boasts one of the most beautiful campus's in Scotland. The University also offers gorgeous walks, lochs, state of the art sporting facilities, an arts centre and cinema.
Loch Lomond and the Trossachs

Only 30 minutes drive away is Scotland's first national park offering a host of activities amongst stunning scenery and many lochs. Possibilities include: scenic drives, walking, cycling, steam boat ride on Loch Katrine, interesting villages and visitor centres, Highland Games throughout the summer and much more.
